Headpins and eyepins are fundamental components in jewelry making used to create and secure dangles, charms, and other decorative elements. Headpins are thin metal pins with a small flat or decorative "head" at one end.

To use a headpin, you thread beads or charms onto the pin, then create a loop at the opposite end using pliers. The head of the pin prevents the beads from sliding off, making it ideal for creating simple dangles or drops for earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.
