Sew Fine Thread Gloss is made with locally sourced beeswax that has NOT been chemically processed. It is handmade in a variety of scents (as well as a natural beeswax/honey scent) in small batches just outside Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a natural light amber colour (as it should be) – those white beeswaxes have been bleached or have had clay added to make it white. The beeswax sourced is one step away from the hive – filtered once to separate it from the honey and any leftover hive particles.
Each pot contains 0.5oz (approx 15g) of thread gloss.

Choose your scent!

LAST ONE! floop floop - A sweet and delectable delight of juicy orange, ripe berries, tangerine and sugared vanilla - said in the voice of a 3 year old.
Lavender - Warm breezy air dances with beautifully fragrant lavender in this brilliantly fresh and calmly fragrance. Pure, radiant and true - this Lavender thread gloss’ scent is closest to the real deal.
Lush - A sprinkling of frozen mango, pink sugar and raspberry sorbet with champagne bubbles, freesia and cashmere musk.
Maple Syrup - A Canadian favourite - fragrant maple syrup mixed with hints of warm, rich vanilla, make this scent a perfect sweet delight.
ON ORDER! Natural -The familiar scent of beeswax and honey is delicate and modest. No additional fragrances required.
ON ORDER! Pink Macaron - A light and fluffy treat of fresh fruit, vanilla and tonka bean spice.
ON ORDER! Ruby Grapefruit - A mouth-watering juicy grapefruit scent with top notes of lemons & limes melding into soft notes of gardenia, lilac & powder.
ON ORDER! Satsuma - Mandarin & Jasmine fragrance oil is truly a scrumptious blend that opens with luscious citrus notes blended with the intoxicatingly romantic fragrance of jasmine flowers.
ON ORDER! Vanilla Bean - If you’re looking for a strong, true vanilla scent, this is the thread gloss for you!

In case you are curious as to how to use Sew Fine Thread Gloss, here's a quick tutorial. If you've ever used that little blue cube, its a very similar process.

Thread your needle and lay the thread over the wax. Using your thumb, press gently and draw the thread through the wax. Two draws usually does the trick! Its cute and portable and fits well in your regular or travel sewing kits.
