Sylvie of the Wildwood Doll Pattern
This pattern has detailed instructions for sewing and embellishing a 12 inch tall seated fairy with Angelina Film or Organza wings. It includes directions for making a Tibetan lamb hide wig or a yarn wig. Instructions are included for making a mushroom base for the doll to sit on. Lots of costuming ideas are included with the pattern!

Supplies:
- 1/4 yard or fat quarter of muslin for body
- 4 inch by 5 Ft piece of Angelina Film for wings OR 1/4 yard organza for wings
- Pipe cleaners for wing armature
- 18 or 20 gauge stem wire for wing armature
- 1/4 yard tulle for skirt
- 2x 10 mm or 12 mm beads for leg joints (knee joint)
- 2x 1/2” or 9/16” inch buttons for arm button joints
- 2x 9/16” or 5/8” buttons for leg button joints
- Scraps of fabric or ribbon for bodice of dress ( to make up about 4“ long x 3” wide material total)
- Assorted beads, sequins and trims for dress
- Fine beads or micro beads and glitter for wings (optional)
- 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch piece of Tibetan lamb wool on the hide. (A yarn wig may be substituted for this.)
- micron or pigma pen in black or dark brown for eyes -0.5 or finer tip
- White gel pen for eyes (Amy prefers the Jellyroll brand!)
- Colored pencils for cheek and eye colour
- Bamboo skewer for neck support (optional)
- Turning Tubes
- Fine tip hemostats for turning and stuffing (optional)
- 5” dollmaking needle
- e-6000 glue for attaching wig and wings
