The long awaited Courtepointe Québec Salon is happening next week! This year the show is being held in Espace Saint-Hyacinthe - Pavillion La Coop at 2740, avenue Beauparlant in St-Hyacinthe. As a large exposition center, there is loads of free parking! Entry to the show is $15 (taxes included) for CQ members and $20  for non-members. The show opens on Thursday October 20th at 10am and runs until Sunday October 23rd at 3pm. With summer being basically over, we have gone back to our regular hours of Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5pm!   I was able take advantage of my summer Fridays! I got out the country a number times for some good long bike rides as well as some kayaking! The Grover Building, where Craft De Ville, is located is filled with a variety of artists, makers and designers. We have a small collective of fellow tenants who organize an open house about once per season.    Your favorite creators will welcom you for their traditional "back-to-school" open house, Marché des ateliers Grover, from September 8th till the 11th. Craft de Ville won't be open on the Thursday, but will be open for the 3 other days! Our last Crafternoon in the Park has been scheduled! The "trend" this year seems to be hosting Crafternoon on a holiday weekend! I guess this is tradiontally the "last weekend" of the summer, with Labour Day on Monday... I am quite willing to accept that summer is over yet! Crafternoons in the Park happen just a couple of blocks away from Craft de Ville (2195 Av. De Lorimier). Come work on a crafty project, while socializing with fellow crafters!
