In 2014, in Bournemouth, UK, Penny Dowdell earned her degree in Fashion Studies and lost access to the large equipment she had relied on at university. Looking for something more portable to fill her creative void, she stumbled upon embroidery. From wobbly stitched quotes to mixed media experiments, Penny's style and inspiration have developed over the last decade.These days, she combines her love of embroidery with her love of interior design. Having lived in various countries around the world, Penny's work explores the meaning and beauty of homely spaces and everyday moments. Penny currently lives and works as a teacher in Taipei, Taiwan.
