Robots Quilt Pattern - Elizabeth Hartman
Use this pattern to start your very own robot factory! These five friendly models are made using conventional patwork techniques. No templates. No paper piecing. Just a lot of good clean robot fun! Use your favourite fat quarters and charm squares or follow the included chart to make a quilt that looks just like Elizabeth Hartman's!
Make a 69” x 85” large sampler quilt with 30 robots or a 48” x 48” small sampler quilt with 10 robots.
Use colorful fat quarters to make the robot bodies and charm squares to make the “screens” on the robot’s bellies. The pattern includes a detailed fabric chart showing the colorful fabrics she used in her quilt including Kona Solids and prints from her Planetarium and Paintbox collections.
The Background of her quilt is Essex yarn-dyed Indigo, and my Medium and Dark Solid Detail fabrics are Kona Metal and Pepper.
