In 1990, LDH Scissors was founded in Shenzhen, just outside of Hong Kong, by a young couple who simply needed better quality sewing scissors. Built with Love, Dedication and Happiness, the company has been serving the sewing community ever since. Fast forward to 2018, their son Roy and his wife Ursula have brought the company to Toronto, Canada, bringing with them the same Love, Dedication and Happiness that made it all possible. LDH Scissors is also proud to be immigrant-, female-, and family-owned!

The handles on these craft scissors are ultra-soft and squishy, and yet extra lightweight The scissors feature large, ambidextrous handles made from recycled (and recyclable!) rubberized plastic. The handles are soft to the touch, lightweight, and malleable. Originally designed and inspired by a sewing studio in Toronto, Canada that specializes in teaching children. The blades are made from industrial stainless steel and come with a safety cap. These scissors are versatile and can be used on fabric, paper, and yarn, and are great for small, detailed work.

Designed with safety in mind, protecting wandering fingers in sewing bags or kits from being nicked; the included safety cap also reduces the chance of the blades breaking or chipping if they are dropped. They measure 6.5″ from the tip of the blade to the bottom of the handle. Great to use with knitting, crochet, macrame, weaving, embroidery, and light to heavyweight fabric trimming.

This pair of shears is right-handed but has ambidextrous handles.
