Who is Craft En Ville?

We started out a few years ago as a conversation about what we would like to see happen with crafting in Montreal.
"Wouldn't it be great if you could rent tools to try them out before you decided to take the plunge and buy them?
"I'd love a space where we could have craft night and if someone wanted to start a new project they could just get what they needed right away."
"Then we could get enough people to take the class and hire that awesome teacher we heard about!"
So Craft En Ville was born. We have started with an online store, so that by the time we build our brick and mortar store people will already know about us and all the hard work of being online would be done. We can then focus on building a great space to have all the things we wanted. A great workspace, lots of really nice high quality stock and a tool library.
A great store is made by the great people who get involved and shop there. We don't just want to stock things we like, we want to carry items that you love. Items that can be hard to find and even items you didn't know existed yet.
