In light of the changes with US tariffs and the customs de minimis rules, which are due to take effect on August 29, Craft de Ville has made the difficult decision to pause sales to the US until we have a cleared view on the situation.

Another Canada Post Strike?

With another Canada Post strike likely to start on May 22, we are planning to continue to use alternate shipping options. You can see some of those details in our previous shipping new post, Shipping News 2025. The biggest challenge will be shipping to PO Boxes. Those belong to Canada Post and can not be used by other providers. If your shipping address is a PO Box, we may hold your order until Canada Post resumes its service. Just in time for the holidays, Canada Post employees are in negotiations. There is the possibility of a strike. As of November 3, we are likely to have 72-hours notice before a strike. Have you been eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Tabby Road fabric shipment, only to find out it has been delayed? Why was the shipment delayed? Here is the statement from FreeSpirit Fabrics: "We are experiencing major delays in consolidation and port entry. Our Korean goods are consolidated on boats that originate out of China. Because they are full, boats coming out of China are bypassing South Korean ports. The port of Charleston also had an 11-day shutdown, creating an unmanageable backlog."
